OUR JOURNEY
TIMELINE HUHT started its journey by providing relief work to natural calamities in 2001 and is now focusing its effort in the sphere of education. It started with
10 students in 2006 and now has 35 faculty and 628 students (as of Jan. 2020).

OUR JOURNEY – From Relief to Reform
Help Us Help Them (HUHT) began its journey in 2001 by providing relief during natural calamities. Over the years, our focus gradually shifted towards creating long-term impact through education and empowerment.

What began in 2006 with just 10 students has now grown into a thriving ecosystem of learning. As of 2025, HUHT directly serves over 1,600 students, with 1,000 girls enrolled in our flagship Adhigam Bhoomi Residential Learning Centre. Our dedicated team of 150 teachers and staff members continue to nurture this transformation.

Expanding our vision further, we now support an additional 7,000 students across 100 rural schools in West Bengal by implementing a Rural Skill-Based Curriculum with mainstream subjects under the initiative “Apni Mitti Se Judi Shiksha.”
This brings us closer to our vision of nurturing a generation of rural entrepreneurs by redefining rural education and making rural India truly Atmanirbhar.
