HUHT NEW MISSION:

mission-01.png

In 2019, HUHT decided to enroll 129 of our street children to main stream boarding school with the help of West Bengal Child Rights and Trafficking Department. Among them, 42 students have finished their interview at Shaishali Bhavan, Salt Lake along with their parents. All their documents have been submitted. As because these admissions will take through West Bengal Child Rights and Trafficking Department, the process got bit slower currently, our teachers are in constant touch with the Asst. Director of Child rights since June. They confirmed, once the schools reopen post pandemic, the interview process would be resumed & all our 129 students would be admitted.

(We are getting support from Smt. Nilanjana Dasgupta, West Bengal Director of Child Rights and Trafficking for admitting our children at Rahara RKM Boarding & few other good homes.)

Pritha Baj, one of our Belgachia area student recently got admitted at Calcutta Orphanage (Govt. orphanage) in primary section.
