Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to support Help Us Help Them (HUHT). We value your trust and contribution toward our mission to empower underprivileged children through education, skill development, and holistic care.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which HUHT accepts donations and the circumstances (if any) under which refunds may be processed.

1. Donations

  • All donations made to Help Us Help Them (HUHT) are treated as voluntary and non-refundable contributions made to support our charitable programs and initiatives.

  • Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be canceled or refunded, except in cases of proven technical error or duplicate transaction.

  • HUHT does not offer refunds if a donor changes their decision after a successful donation.

2. Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

In case of an accidental duplicate payment or a transaction error (e.g., the same amount charged more than once):

  • The donor must inform us immediately at info@helpushelpthem.co.in or call +91 8336919600 within 7 working days of the transaction.

  • Upon verification, HUHT will initiate a refund for the duplicate amount through the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

3. Failed or Pending Transactions

If a payment is deducted from your account but you do not receive a donation confirmation or receipt:

  • Please email us at info@helpushelpthem.co.in with the transaction reference number, date, and payment details.

  • We will verify the transaction with our payment gateway and update you within 5–7 business days.

4. Tax Exemption and Receipts

If a payment is deducted from your account but you do not receive a donation confirmation or receipt:

  • Donations made to Help Us Help Them (HUHT) are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, wherever applicable.

  • If a refund is processed for any reason, the donor will no longer be eligible to claim tax exemption for that specific donation.

5. Changes to This Policy

HUHT reserves the right to modify or update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on our official website with the updated Effective Date.
